About Mary:

I have over twenty years experience in the corporate environment and about 10 years in education. In addition to my MBA and doctorate degree I also have a Master's degree in Special Education for grades 5 - 9. I am committed to providing services to address areas in need of strengthening and assessing learning styles. I am comfortable working with all age groups and all learning levels. My rate is negotiable depending on the number of hours needed, number of students, level of education, and distance required for travel. I have 3 years experience providing one-on-one and small group tutoring.

Research has shown that elementary through high school students require instructional strategies that will captivate their attention. While college and individuals in the work force are focused on end results and learning the needed skills to work independently once the tutoring sessions are completed. Younger students will develop the needed skills, however, positive feedback and acceptance are as important as the end result.

Working as a tutor has been a very positive experience for me and I look forward to working with you and/or your child(ren).
